There is one classroom for Los Angeles and it sits on Venice Blvd in Culver City, inside LA County. We also run classes in Sacramento.
Part 2 classes for Los Angeles students are taught by Paul Fields, lead instructor at World Academia, at the Culver City classroom.
Paul spent 33 years with the United States government: twenty years in the U.S. Armed Forces and seven as a federal agent with the Departments of Justice and, after 9/11, Homeland Security. He then spent six years in Iraq and Afghanistan as an advisor under contract to the Departments of State, Defense and Homeland Security.
He has since worked in security services as a site supervisor, close protection operative and corporate security investigator, and works throughout Los Angeles as a private investigator when he is not teaching.

No. Part 1, the 3 hour Power to Arrest course, is online and you can do it from anywhere in LA. Part 2, the 5 hour Appropriate Use of Force course, is required to be completed in person, so you come to the Culver City classroom for that.
The initial training is 8 hours total: 3 hours online for Part 1 and 5 hours in the classroom for Part 2.

Our only other classroom is in Sacramento. Part 1 is online from anywhere, so the only trip you make is the 5 hour Part 2 session.

No. We are a BSIS licensed training provider, not the licensing agency. We issue a certificate with a CERT number when you complete your training. You then complete Live Scan fingerprinting and submit your application to BSIS. BSIS processes and approves guard card applications, and we cannot guarantee approval.
